This week we are pleased to meet Anna Orlova who is a Music Teacher

Where are you from originally?
I am from Ukraine.

Have you lived in any other countries?
I have lived in Ukraine before moving to Poland.

Where and what did you study for your education?
I graduated from the Kirovohrad Music College in Ukraine (with honours) where I studied Classical Singing on the Musical Art Program.

How long have you been at TBS Warsaw?
I joined TBS Warsaw in November 2017.

What do you enjoy most about teaching at our school?
Watching my students perform in the concerts - it’s a very proud moment!

What are you most looking forward to in the 2019/2020 academic year?
I am looking forward to the Bratislava Big Sing, where we will take 20 of our Primary choir students to perform with Nord Anglia choirs from Europe.

Whose your favourite historian/scientist/literary figure and why?
Daniel Keyes and his book “Flowers for Algernon” - my favourite book.

What is your favourite thing about living in Warsaw, Poland?
I moved to Warsaw in October 2016 and from the very first day I fell in love with Poland. I think my favourite thing about living in Warsaw it is that there’s lots of beautiful parks!

What do you miss most from home?
Of course - my family
