Geography Games Year 8

Year 8 practised a self-made migration game this week in their lessons

  • Geo Yr 8 2
  • Games

The students were understanding the roles played in various causes and drawbacks of Migration in their People and the Planet studies. Students were given the opportunity to learn by playing, and devised some highly imaginative alternatives to traditional favourites like snakes n ladders and monopoly.

The aim of such lessons is to broaden the learning styles, so that all pupils of different abilities and learning needs, have full access to the curriculum - as well as getting the opportunity to beat their teacher at a board game! Play on!"
