The PTA Charities Team would like to share their reflections on this year’s Christmas Giving Tree and their plans for the rest of the academic year, I hope you have a chance to read their final report, which is included in the newsletter and will be sent out from our school email address.

Thank you to Sonia, Therese and the charities team for all their hard work making so many dreams come true.

  • Book week DAB

Book week

Firstly, thank you again to everybody for their efforts last week.  The book and bake sales were a huge success! Thank you to everyone who donated books and baked goods, to the wonderful volunteers who shared their time with us, and to all those that supported the sale with your purchases. Thank you especially to Ms. Siobhain Keenan and the Student Council at Dab and to Evelyn Balut in the secondary library for all of their help.

We raised a total of 10,440.41 PLN for the libraries;

3,710.20 PLN for the Dab Library (and increase of 1,668.31PLN from last year) and

6,730.21 PLN for the Libraries at Lim (an increase of 2,817.12PLN).

All money raised will be used to buy books for you and your children to enjoy through our libraries.

Based on last year’s figures:

For Secondary, we purchased 60 books, which was in addition to the 162 books purchased through the school’s library budget.

Primary – Lim, we purchased 60 books, which was in addition to 264 books purchased through the school’s library budget.

This year… we are on track to purchase a further 100 books for each library.

Leftover books in Dab were donated to classrooms, and the remainder from both campuses will be distributed to local hospitals and charities in need.

Thank you for your support!
