DAB Sports Enrichment Day

The Early Years children were very excited to partake in a sport day as part of the Sport Enrichment Day.

The children were prepared for a fencing duel by going through a range of skills to prepare us.

First we practiced our fencing stance, next we rehearsed a forward charge and backward guard.

Our next activity was to chase and collect a tennis ball in a side on position.

We then used a side on stance to hoopla a cone and we were finally ready.

We greeted our opponent and placed on our head guard before attacking and defending in style.

After every dual we showed respect for our opponent and shook their hands along with the hands of our wonderful instructors.
