Message from our Head of Early Years

This week saw the first snow fall this year.

  • b

The children at Dab were very excited to watch it fall and play in it outside. It was great to see them mark making in the snow and seeing their footprints.

In Year 1, the children have being learning about clothes in the past this week. It was interesting listening to the children decide what clothes were old and why.

They used their communication and enquiry skills when working in a small group to decide the chronological order. In Reception, the children are enjoying the ‘Once Upon a Time’ topic and are developing their love of books.

They have made castles for role play, painted pictures and are now thinking of stories to match their picture.

Thank you to those that attended Parent Voice today. I hope you have an enjoyable weekend.

Kay Parker-McMahon
