We start the new term with a flurry of events and some further feedback from the Christmas Giving Tree

  • Family Dance – Friday 10th January 5pm – 7pm Canteen, Limanowskiego campus

As part of our preparations for the Burns Supper event,  we invite you and your children to join us for an informal family dance to learn some Scottish country dances and more.  There’s no charge for this event and we look forward to seeing you ready for a jig or two.

Our first parent – teacher social of the new year, a chance to come together for a traditional 3-course Scottish haggis dinner (vegetarian option available!), whisky tasting, quiz and dancing a traditional Scottish country dancing with a live band.

There are a limited number of tickets left for this event, grab a ticket while you can.  You don’t need a dancing partner, as they will be lots of people also looking for dance partners.  Tickets are 125pln per person and are on sale now with Liz and Georgina in the school office.

Burns Night is a traditional Scottish evening celebrating the birthday of a famous national poet, Robert Burns.  For more information about a Burns Supper, please click here.

We will also have an English language book swap – please bring along any books you no longer need and swap it for new books.  Please don’t worry if you have no books to swap, you are welcome to take away any books – please just make a contribution into the honesty box.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

Have your children had a growth spurt over the holidays?  Do you need new uniform?  Our second hand uniform shop reopens on Monday 13 January from 7.55am – 8.25am in the PTA store at the end of the bottom corridor at the Limanowskiego campus. 

We could have just what you’re looking for.

Christmas Giving Tree

Thank you, together, we achieved the following:

  • Raising over 30,000 zl.
  • Delivered 350 presents to children and young adults with special needs
  • Visited 8 towns
  • All our recipients were linked with either:
    • Pankracy Foundation
    • Broken Ties charity
    • Foundation of Brother Albert, Trzebinie.
