Our new Virtual World

In these Covid times, we are obviously taking precautions which limit our face to face contact with our community in general but also you as parents, our most important partners.

However, just as other organisations are, we are adapting to these times by adopting a more virtual world for parent meetings.  These have been very highly rated by our parent body as it gives you the flexibility so much needed at present.  Parent Voice meetings and Virtual Parent Evenings and Academic Review Days are just some examples of this.  We have had a significantly higher number of participation in Parent Voice by holding them virtually (up to a 10-fold increase) and know that it suits our community well to be able to access from anywhere.

Parent Voice is a vital aspect of our school/parent relationship because we value your ideas, opinions and views and as mentioned above, last year, we ran a series of very well-attended virtual Parent Voice meetings via Zoom.  With the first half term well under way, I am delighted to let you know that we are re-starting the Secondary Virtual Parent Voice meetings from next week.  You will have received an invitation to participate in the 2020-2021 programme of Virtual Parent Voice meetings in the relevant Year group and, for your convenience these virtual meetings can be accessed from any device and from anywhere.

We encourage you to send your questions ahead of time via an online 'Forms' document so that we can address the most pertinent issues.  Please click on the link below to submit your questions:

Present at these meetings will be myself, Miss Hill – Principal and the relevant Head of Year; other staff members may also join, teaching schedule permitting.
