Early Years News

It has been a very busy week in our Early Years Campus.

The children have really shown true collaboration in taking their learning forward, working together and listening to each other.

In Pre-Nursery and Nursery children have been following a range of interests. Some children have been shopping in the Greengrocers playing the role of shopkeeper, whilst others have been further developing their re-enacting of traditional tales such as The Three Little Pigs. Motor skills have been developing as the children have been playing with slime.

It has been all systems go in Reception as the children have been using Beebots and robots to create short coding sequences. They have also been enjoying the autumnal weather as they collect and count conkers in our outdoor area. Year 1 have been further developing their Maths skills as they were learning how to use ordinal numbers in PE through a range of games and activities.

We look forward to seeing what next week has in store.

Have a restful weekend.
