Jenny Hughes - PTA Secretary
Where would you call home?
I am from the UK, I was born in London and then moved to Hornchurch in Essex.
What Languages can you speak?
I can read and speak a small amount of Korean, enough to order food and give directions to a taxi driver!
What brings you to Warsaw and what was your journey to get here?
My husband works for the British Embassy and we arrived in Warsaw in August 2019. We came from Seoul, South Korea, where we lived for 4 years.
Who have you got at school here?
Edward who is in Year 3 Caterpillars.
Any other children?
No.
Any Pets?
We have 2 cats called Charlie and Lola.
How did you get involved in the PTA?
I volunteered at Edwards last school in Seoul and really enjoyed it so I wanted to get involved here. I went along to PTA meeting when we first arrived and it went from there.
What do you do in the PTA?
I am on the charity committee and also the PTA Committee Secretary.
Best thing about volunteering with the PTA?
The best thing is getting to know lots of lovely people and being more involved with the school.
What would you say to somebody thinking about volunteering for the PTA?
Come along to one of the open PTA meetings, see what goes on and get involved.
Whats your favourite thing to do with your family in Warsaw?
We like to go out and explore new places. We are looking forward to the warmer weather when we can do lots more.
