Key Stage 3 were set a challenging task of expressing their feelings using a Haiku poem. With limited words at their disposal, they still managed to leave us speechless with their acute insight.
Check out some of the winning entries below and I am sure you will agree.
Today starts again
Yesterday was tomorrow
Time overlaps time
Mr Walder
Stuck Inside one space
Wind whistles through empty streets
A cure does exist
Global pandemic
Science is the way to go
We live our lives inside
When they said no school
I thought it would be cool
But I was a fool
Spring displays its wings,
Quarantined and sanitized,
We only live inside
Writing and reading,
Don’t care for socializing,
Perfectly content.
The worry is more
Than the bravery some days
But we carry on
