In Year 1 we have seen such adaptable uses of resources as part of the 'Virtual School Experience'. This has been seen across the curriculum but particularly in Mathematics.

Recently in Mathematics we have focused on multiplication and division and have used arrays and grouping to support us. This week we have moved into doubling and sharing into 2 equal groups (halving).

The range of resources and the flexibility and inventiveness of our learners has really impressed our teaching team as learners demonstrate the depth of their understanding, enquire further and prove their answers and thinking. Here is just a small selection of the many examples of how amazingly adaptable Year 1 are.
