Message from our Principal

The last few weeks of term have felt ‘almost normal’

Science lab

....with corridors filled with social distanced children we have managed to bring almost 400 Primary age children back onto campus this last month along with giving our secondary students opportunities to return to school for sessions of PE and science practicals.

At times over 80% of a year group have taken up these opportunities in secondary which has been wonderful to see. I personally have enjoyed the chance to get back into the classroom with groups of children and conduct science experiments.

As we approach our last week of school for this academic year I would like to thank all of the parents who have been so kind as to write to teachers thanking them for their efforts in re-opening the school whilst also continuing to provide our Virtual School Experience. The last six weeks have been incredibly demanding for our staff as they have tried to manage the seemingly impossible but they have and they’ve done it with a smile and enthusiasm, always placing the child’s best interests at the centre of all we have done. Thank you.
