Dogs after lockdown

With our youngsters returning to school after such a long period at home, it is understandable if there is some separation anxiety coming in to play.

However, many people are also expressing concerns about their most loyal of pets, and what happens to our dogs as we come out of lockdown? Lockdown has meant extra attention for our dogs. As well as getting us out of the house for a daily walk and being a constant source of love and devotion, they have also provided a soothing coat of fur to stroke at a time when nerves are taut and anxiety is high.

But while having a dog at home has clearly been beneficial to us ­humans, what has lockdown done to them and will they too suffer from separation anxiety? The article here provides some tips on how to ease your dog out of lockdown and getting dogs used to their owners leaving the home again.
