As we all get used to the ‘new normal’, please find below a few updates from our various sub-committees.

Magic Giving Tree - Summer 2020

During the summer term, the charities team initiated the Magic Giving Tree initiative to help 100 children in need from 7 homes. Thank you to all of you that donated cash or sent packages to the homes. Including the 12,000zł excess from the Christmas Giving Tree, we donated a total of 15,800zł that the Pankracy Foundation used to buy 4 laptops, 4 tablets, 1 printer and outdoor toys and games. The Pankracy Foundation added 4,758zł and bought additional equipment that the homes needed. The photos show children from the children's home in Wyszogród enjoying one of the laptops and games and Lena from Manie making tea in her new playhouse.

 Christmas Giving Tree

Our charities sub-committee is planning on running the Christmas Giving Tree once again this year.  The hope is to be able to run the project virtually as the various visits may not be possible. If you have any suggestions, please get in touch with our charities team at ptacharities.tbs@gmail.com.

With no access to school, the uniform shop has gone virtual. Please visit this page for full instructions on how to order your uniform items: https://www.nordangliaeducation.com/our-schools/warsaw/article/2020/9/17/pta-corner

Whilst we cannot meet in person at the moment, we very much encourage you to meet us and each other virtually. We recently attended the Friday morning Wellbeing Cafe Zoom call and will continue to do so in the future, as they are a great way to connect to other parents in an informal way. Wellbeing Cafe Zoom calls take place every Friday from 10-10:30am.

Please note that no parents are allowed inside the school buildings due to the current restrictions,

therefore we are not able to complete the lost property sort out and layout as we have in the past. If you have a missing item, please contact your class teacher or form tutor directly.

Please don’t forget to like our Facebook pages and groups, where we also post updates and useful

information. Please remember to fill in the membership questions as we won’t be able to accept you into the groups without them.
