Excellent results achieved by our IB Diploma students for the 2020/21 academic year.
We believe there is no limit to what students can achieve socially, personally and academically. This year, our students’ academic results reflect our shared commitment to excellence.
We are proud to share the great results which our students at The British School Warsaw have achieved in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) for the 2020/2021 academic year.
This year, The British School Warsaw students’ average point score was 35 out of 45, 2 points higher than the IB global average of 33 points. One of our students achieved a perfect score of 45 points and 22% of our students achieved 40+ points which is the level of attainment required to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford.
Dr Jacek Łatkowski, Vice Principal of The British School Warsaw said: “Firstly, I’d like to congratulate all who have completed the IB Diploma Programme (IBDP) at this extraordinary and extremely challenging year. It marks the end of their journey at The British School Warsaw. The IBDP is academically challenging and demands absolute commitment and energy from learners, which makes these results so special and meaningful to students, teachers and parents. Their attainment acts as a key, unlocking the door to further study in higher education. It is wonderful to know that we will soon be hearing about how this cohort of students is progressing in their own university careers, due to the scores that they have achieved now. Good luck and well done to all of you embarking on your next steps. Thank you also to parents and staff for the support and encouragement that you have provided to allow us to celebrate today.”
All of us here at The British School would also like to congratulate our graduating seniors. Our students have put in incredible amount of hard work over the years and we cannot wait to see what they achieve in the future.
A huge congratulations to all our graduates and IBDP achievers for a job well done!
