We expect that students leaving our school will continue their studies at university. Every year, our IB graduates receive offers from top universities around the world.
Our rich and fulfilling school life provides many opportunities for students to pursue excellence in the classroom, as well as grow in personal and social confidence. We are proud that in our recent parent survey, 95% of our parents agreed that their child was happy at school and saw their child developing in confidence and independence.
Rewards
As well as our teachers giving regular positive feedback and praise to the children, we use school reward systems. These allow us to immediately reward personal achievement in school.
Throughout the school, house points are awarded to children for both academic and sporting achievements. Certificates and a strong team spirit in each house foster individual and team motivation to do well and grow.
We reward appropriate achievements and behaviour at all ages. For example, our youngest children may be recognised for attempting something challenging or caring, such as listening carefully, helping a friend or answering a difficult question in class. Our older students may achieve recognition for academic, social or athletic achievements.
