Therefore, we do not ask for other financial contributions to operate our school or the capital development of our facilities. Mid-year enrollment for 2022–23 will pay pro-rated tuition based on our 2022–23 tuition schedule. Please contact admissions for more details.

Items covered by BISW Tuition Fees:

  • Classroom instruction, supervision, in-school workshops.
  • Lunch Meal Plan to include an entree, two sides, a dessert, and a drink
  • Assessment costs (IB Diploma examinations, IGCSEs, Cognitive Ability Test).
  • Exercise books, the loan of textbooks, supplies, educational materials and documentation, 1-1 access to iPads for Years 3–6 in-school and 1-1 tablet/laptop access for school use for Years 7–13, subscriptions, educational memberships, the yearbook, PE (T-shirt/shorts) and school photos.
  • Whole year overnight local field trips in September (Years 7 to 11) and to Tanzania (Year 12), single event/day field trips, additional activities (i.e. swimming) and school run after school activities.

Registration and Enrollment Fees:

  • Application Fee - $165 – a non-refundable fee
  • Enrollment Deposit - $2,000 – an advance tuition payment, due each year when enrolling to officially secure a place; the amount of this advance payment is subtracted from later payment of tuition fees.
  • New Student Fee - $2,500 – a one-off payment used to contribute to capital enhancements within the school. This fee is non-refundable and in addition to the tuition schedule (due first year only)
  • Refundable Security Deposit - $1,000 – a fee to cover any loss or damage (due first year only)

Additional Fees

Potential Obligated Supplementary Fees:

  • 1-1 Learning Support exceeding 3 hours per week provision - $30 per hour. 

Required Supplementary Costs:

  • School Uniform

Optional Supplementary Costs:

  • Additional overnight/multi-day field trips (e.g. MIT visit, Juillard camps, Global Games, Primary Camps, World Scholars Cup, Ski Trip, overnight sports tournaments) – on a trip by trip basis.
  • IB and IGCSE retakes, SAT, SAT II Subject Tests, ACT, or other non-compulsory assessments
  • School Bus Transportation
  • Child Care (afterschool and vacation programmes)
  • Externally run clubs, individual music lessons, other language courses, individual private tutoring
