At Regent’s International School Bangkok, your child will take part in life-changing community, social responsibility, and leadership activities. These will impact how they see and engage with the world – and give them the confidence to effect change now and in the future.
Learning is shaped by our membership of Round Square, a select family of 250 international schools worldwide. The Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service are embedded into our culture. Our trip to India is just one example of how the IDEALS extend from the classroom into the real world – and have a real impact.
In school, our students take part in structured opportunities that nurture confidence, responsibility, and purpose. These include our Year 10 Global Perspectives project, which carefully challenges learners to identify a real social issue, build a real campaign, and take real action. On committees and councils, learners represent their peers with confidence and contribute to our community. And through the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) element of the IB Diploma, our students use their skills to turn ideas into meaningful action.
Our diverse community welcomes all backgrounds and cultures, creating an environment in-which students grow into open-minded global citizens. We proudly honour Thai heritage and culture, too, both in the curriculum and through events including Wai Kru, Loy Krathong, and Songkran.
This whole-school commitment to global citizenship and cross-cultural learning is verified by CIS. Their most recent report highlighted the quality of our curriculum and authentic cultural experiences, which ‘exceeds’ expectations and prepares students for the future.
