UNLOCKING POTENTIAL THROUGH PERSONALISED LEARNING

Academic excellence at Regent’s starts with wellbeing. We know that secure, supported students thrive, and our holistic focus, which is rated by the Council of International Schools (CIS) as being of the very highest standard, is the foundation of our learners’ growth and success.

Excellence is also driven by personalisation. Each child’s academic journey is planned with precision and purpose, built around a deep understanding of individual strengths, preferences, and goals. Differentiating teaching in this way builds confidence. It also enables each student to shape how and what they learn, guided by our exceptional international teachers.

Our all-encompassing approach carefully nurtures our learners’ progress through each stage of the English National Curriculum (ages 2-16). It also equips them for the demands of the renowned International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma (ages 16-18).

Academic excellence

At Regent’s International School Bangkok, we know there isn’t a one-size-fits-all approach to education. We also understand that knowing your child – and putting their wellbeing first – is the best way to unlock their potential.

Personalisation starts from the moment a student joins us. We identify individual needs using data and assessments, and get to know how a child learns, what excites them, and what they need next. A long-term plan is created, and teaching is adapted accordingly. This ensures learning is never left to chance, and that every child is on the right path.

From the Early Years through Primary, every student’s academic journey is structured through a carefully sequenced British curriculum. This builds knowledge, conceptual understanding, and confidence year-on-year. In Secondary, our approach works backwards from the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, providing a clear, progressive pathway from Key Stage 3 to IGCSEs to the IB.

The Regent’s curriculum brings together the ‘best of everything’. It’s a purpose-built combination of wellbeing and character education, the school’s guiding principles, high-quality teaching, and British and IB programmes. It’s also shaped by our membership of Round Square, whose IDEALS align with our own. Weaving these components together creates a meaningful, well-rounded education that will not only prepare your child for exams, but also develop the attributes set out in the Regent’s Graduate Profile.

Crucially, the quality of our approach is independently proven. Our private school in Bangkok is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), who rate the support we provide as exceeding the highest standards. Quality is also evidenced by our learners’ outstanding results, their global university destinations, and the kind and happy citizens they become.

The world's best teachers

Our teachers bring extensive international experience and specialist qualifications to our classrooms. They’re also holistic educators, committed to knowing, understanding, and nurturing each student’s growth.

Excellence at our international school in Bangkok stems from the personal relationships our teachers build. Your child’s teachers will get to know how they learn best, what motivates them, and what they need to succeed. They’ll spot strengths early and catch gaps before they widen. And they’ll provide authentic personalised support, which will ensure your child is always comfortable and ready to give their best.

The quality of our teachers is demonstrated by our students’ progress and results. It’s also verified by the Council of International Schools (CIS). CIS inspectors report that Regent’s students are engaged, challenged, and supported at the right level. Student feedback shows they know who to go to when they need support, while 100% of parents say that our teachers provide the perfect level of challenge and support.

To maintain the highest standards, we take our teachers’ development as seriously as our students’. Your child will be taught by experts who are continually improving their practice, empowered by an ingrained professional development culture. Approved courses through Nord Anglia Education, the International Baccalaureate Organization, and Cambridge International keep our educators at the cutting-edge of global academics.

Outstanding learning experiences

We know that happy, healthy students thrive, which is why wellbeing always comes first at Regent’s International School Bangkok.

Our wellbeing framework provides a springboard for growth and achievement. Initiatives like our Learning for Life programme develop practical, future-focused skills, while specialist counselling, daily check-ins, and ‘Wellbeing Wednesdays’ ensure our children are always supported. This will free your child to learn with purpose and passion – both on and beyond our campus.

In school, our learners choose from an eclectic range of extra-curricular activities. These include swimming, football, Taekwondo, dancing, robotics, and art. Each club is inspired by student voice, and provides immersive opportunities for fun, skill development, and collaboration.

Globally, exclusive Nord Anglia Education collaborations with leaders in the performing arts and STEAM transform how and what our students learn. Membership of Round Square and FOBISIA, meanwhile, unlocks life-changing opportunities, including international exchange trips with fellow Round Square schools worldwide.

Boarding at our international school in Bangkok offers an even greater breadth of opportunities. Ice skating, go-karting, city breaks, cultural adventures – our boarders benefit from the freedom and agency to shape their time here. Back at the boarding house, our swimming pool, sports courts, and shared spaces ensure evenings and weekends are action-packed.

 Our social purpose

At Regent’s International School Bangkok, your child will take part in life-changing community, social responsibility, and leadership activities. These will impact how they see and engage with the world – and give them the confidence to effect change now and in the future.

Learning is shaped by our membership of Round Square, a select family of 250 international schools worldwide. The Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service are embedded into our culture. Our trip to India is just one example of how the IDEALS extend from the classroom into the real world – and have a real impact.

In school, our students take part in structured opportunities that nurture confidence, responsibility, and purpose. These include our Year 10 Global Perspectives project, which carefully challenges learners to identify a real social issue, build a real campaign, and take real action. On committees and councils, learners represent their peers with confidence and contribute to our community. And through the Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) element of the IB Diploma, our students use their skills to turn ideas into meaningful action.

Our diverse community welcomes all backgrounds and cultures, creating an environment in-which students grow into open-minded global citizens. We proudly honour Thai heritage and culture, too, both in the curriculum and through events including Wai Kru, Loy Krathong, and Songkran.

This whole-school commitment to global citizenship and cross-cultural learning is verified by CIS. Their most recent report highlighted the quality of our curriculum and authentic cultural experiences, which ‘exceeds’ expectations and prepares students for the future.
