Residential trips are an integral part of the educational experience at Regent's. Tailored for each year group, these multi-day experiences combine outdoor adventures, environmental education, cultural exploration, and personal development.
Each trip features a range of activities, including team-building challenges, hiking, problem-solving tasks, water-based activities, and field studies. These build our students’ confidence and challenge them in different ways. The Round Square IDEALS of Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership, and Service are embedded into each residential, too, shaping how and what our children learn.
We offer a range of curriculum-linked trips that enrich classroom learning and provide authentic opportunities to develop skills.
Our geography trip, for example, encourages students to think critically about the relationship between people and the environment. Through investigation, fieldwork, and collaborative learning, our students become inquisitive, globally minded learners, who can apply their knowledge to contemporary environmental and societal challenges.
On our biology trip, students investigate ecosystems, biodiversity, and environmental processes through direct observation and practical fieldwork. These experiences reinforce theoretical concepts and spark curiosity and a deeper appreciation of the natural world.
Our Secondary art trip fuels our learners’ creativity through exposure to a wide range of artistic styles and cultural influences. By observing original works of art and taking part in workshops, students develop a fuller understanding of artistic processes and gain inspiration for their own creative practice.
We offer an array of hands-on experiences that connect our learners to Thailand’s rich cultural heritage, history, and way of life.
Excursions to important cultural and historical sites, including temples, museums, and community landmarks, enrich our students’ understanding of our host country. These carefully planned activities complement classroom learning, expand our students’ cultural knowledge, and promote personal growth.
Students also benefit from interactive experiences in local communities, from traditional arts and crafts to service projects. Each activity creates lasting memories, whilst also instilling a genuine appreciation for Thailand’s distinct people, places, and perspectives.
