What is RFAM?
RFAM includes all parents and carers in the school. It's led by a committee, which is made up of parent representatives from each year group. Parent representatives are volunteers who work with the school leadership to enhance communication and represent the views of parents. We meet regularly with the Principal and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), and effect real change across Regent's.
Purpose of RFAM
RFAM fosters a warm, welcoming, and memorable experience for all families by promoting a strong sense of community spirit, connecting members, and providing support, information, resources, and friendship.
community events
RFAM supports several school activities that enrich the student and parent experience during the year. Here are some examples:
- Regent’s Family welcome meeting: Hosted by RFAM, the welcome meeting brings parents together at the beginning of the school year. This is an opportunity to get to know other families and build new relationships.
- Halloween: Organised by RFAM, Halloween is one of the great celebrations and traditions in the Regent’s calendar.
- Coffee mornings: Throughout the year, RFAM organises parent coffee mornings that connect families and Regent's colleagues in an informal setting.
