For more than 20 years, Regent’s has been part of the elite group of Round Square schools, which has shaped our educational philosophy and enriched learning.

THE Round Square Ideals

Round Square is grounded in six IDEALS: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmentalism, Adventure, Leadership and Service.

These provide a framework for everything we do here at Regent’s. The Round Square IDEALS are a common platform, shared by schools in the Round Square network, around which we collaborate, swap, and share learning resources, and take part in joint activities. Interacting with other students around the world allows our students to see things from a different perspective.

THE ROUND SQUARE DISCOVERIES

The Round Square Discoveries sit alongside the IDEALS. These are the attributes we want our students to develop and demonstrate throughout their education.

Each Discovery is a necessary skill that a child will use every single day. The IDEALS and the Discoveries are interlinked, giving us the Round Square 'Framework', which shapes teaching and learning. This framework helps students to understand themselves better, and to use that self-awareness to realise the impact they can have on the world around them.
