EAL support at Regents, Thailand
Our English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme recognises that:
- The speed at which a language is learned depends on the individual and intensity of study.
- Accelerated language learning requires significant and extended opportunities for authentic language production and feedback throughout their school day, both within the mainstream and EAL-specific classroom.
- The best way for EAL students to learn is in an authentic and inclusive setting (the mainstream classroom).
- Targeted support in an EAL-specific classroom accelerates language learning.

EAL at secondary
Our distinctive and highly-successful EAL programmes are designed to improve the language skills of students who only have beginner-level English. The aim is to get each student to the point where they can successfully take IGCSE, IBDP, and A-level qualifications.
