On Wednesday 23 January, the Whole School student and parent community came together to celebrate Teacher and Staff Appreciation Day at Regents.

Last week all Key Stage 3 students left school for the week to take part in Outdoor Education Week. Here is a recap from each of the Year groups on what they got up to during the week and why Regents International School Pattaya believes experiential learning is important in providing holistic education.

Reflecting back on an action-packed term one, the Regents Community has had the honour of welcoming a wide variety of people to its doors.

On the 23rd November, the Regents community came together to celebrate Loy Krathong. This traditional festival is celebrated every year to pay respect to the river goddess, Phra Mae Khongkha.

On November 30th the Regents community came together to raise awareness for the people of Palu who were devastated by the Tsunami in September.

To end a fantastic History Week, nine students from Year 9 and two members of staff made their way to Kanchanaburi to learn more about the impact of the Second World War on Thailand and to take part in a Remembrance Service in support of the Royal British Legion. As part of our unique collaboration with the famous performing arts school, Juilliard in New York; Regents warmly welcomed Brian Drye to our school for a 2 day visit. Brian is nobody other than Juilliard's Music Curriculum Specialist and a world renowned trombonist and pianist.

This week, Regents International School Pattaya welcomes two exchange students from Woodleigh School in Melbourne Australia. This is a unique opportunity made possible by our association with other Round Square Schools.
