New Astroturf and sports hall will boost after-school activities for boarders
Two major projects will significantly enhance evening and weekend activities for the boarders at Regents International School Pattaya.
Over the next few weeks, external contractors are putting the finishing touches on two major projects which will significantly enhance evening and weekend activities for the boarders at Regents International School Pattaya: the school’s first Astroturf (artificial sports pitch) and a completely refurbished double sports hall.
The roof of the Astroturf (pictured) is now beginning to take shape and the sports surface itself will be laid in early November. All that remains to be done in the sports hall is the erection of digital score boards.
Sport and keep-fit are popular after-school and evening activities at Regents. These new facilities, along with the existing swimming pool and all-weather running track, will provide our boarders with an outstanding array of on-campus sports facilities
The development programme is being spearheaded by the school’s Bursar, Kirsty Paiboontanasin. “It’s easy enough to promise change and improvements, quite another thing to actually deliver it. I am so proud of my Estates Team, who are working tirelessly to ensure we make this a campus our boarders can be proud of.”
Kirsty also singled out for praise Nord Anglia Education, the family of international schools which owns and manages Regents. “NAE wants this to be the one of the finest boarding schools in South East Asia and they are standing shoulder-to-shoulder with us to make that happen.”
