OUR PRIMARY SCHOOL CURRICULUM

Our bespoke primary school programme combines the academic rigour of the English National Curriculum with the thematic approach of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC). No matter where your child is in their learning journey, they’ll develop an in-depth knowledge of the core subjects and enjoy exciting cross-curricular learning opportunities. Our residential and day trips further broaden our students horizons and deepen their learning experiences.

Our primary students follow a carefully curated blend of two globally respected curricula: the English National Curriculum and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).

Learning in the core subjects - maths, English, and science - is fun, engaging, and challenging, while specialist creative, sporting, language, and leadership experiences will help your child grow into a conscientious and future-ready global citizen.

ENGLISH NATIONAL CURRICULUM

The English National Curriculum teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills every child needs to flourish. Focusing on English, maths and science, your child will develop academic essentials like reading, writing, and numeracy. They’ll nurture their logical mind, and learn how to solve complex problems. 

Your child will also grow personally, socially, and emotionally, learning how to communicate effectively and form nourishing friendships. We encourage our students to learn new languages and immerse themselves in Vietnamese culture, too. Your child will also have the chance to learn a musical instrument.

INTERNATIONAL PRIMARY CURRICULUM (IPC)

In geography, history, art, and design technology, our students follow the International Primary Curriculum (IPC).

The IPC is a thematic, creative programme, with clear personal, subject, and learning goals that can be adapted to each student’s interests and level of understanding. The IPC also develops our students’ international mindedness, which is a clear learning goal threaded throughout lessons.
