We are thrilled to announce that St Andrews International School Bangkok has been selected to host the VEX Signature Event in November 2024. This prestigious international event, organised by the Robotics Education and Competition Foundation (RECF), will welcome 70 teams of young students aged 7 to 15 from the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions.
St Andrews Bangkok recently hosted professional development workshops for IB Asia-Pacific, welcoming 290 educators from across the region to enhance their teaching practices in International Baccalaureate programmes. The workshops offered insights into updated syllabi for various courses, while also spotlighting the launch of the IB Career-related Programme at St Andrews, fostering networking opportunities and reinforcing the school's commitment to academic excellence.

It's been another busy week across the school with lots of discussion about all the extra-curricular activities that were on offer, as well as the wide range of sports opportunities for children to get involved in.

Ms Grace, our Head of Year 7, Science Teacher has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Indiana University and has completed her PGCE Secondary Science specialising in Biology from the University of Exeter.
Year 13 students came over from High School to take a look at the Primary School waterways. The purpose was to create their own projects based on the redevelopments that have taken place at the Primary site over the last year.
Ms Faye, our Head of Business and Enterprise, IBCP Coordinator and BTEC Quality Nominee, has been teaching at St Andrews since 2012 and graduated with Honours in Business Management from the University of Newcastle.
Our garden area at school was recently turned into an archaeology site for Year 3s hunting for dinosaur bones.
Mr Lewis, our new Economics teacher at the High School, completed his PGCEi at the University of Nottingham and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Economics from Nottingham Trent University. He brings several years of experience in teaching Business Studies and Economics.
Congratulations again to last year's Year 11 students on their IGCSE results, with the students’ Edexcel and AQA results being published on Thursday last week.
Ms Bonnie is our new Mathematics teacher at the High School. She holds a PGCE in Secondary Maths from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Mathematics from King’s College London University.
