After a very busy term 1, we are hitting the ground running in term 2. KS3, KS4 and KS5 Drama students are currently working on material for our ‘Working Title’ event in February. This evening is going to showcase classwork, extra curricular work and exam work. This year we are excited to include work from our fellow Performing Arts Departments, creating an exciting and diverse evening of performance.

Bugsy Malone Rehearsals

Rehearsals for Bugsy Malone have resumed and are in full swing again.

Cast and crew for the High School Summer production are working hard to create the popular gangster era musical, due for performance at the end of April. Actors have been working on scenes while dancers have been creating routines with to be included in the show. Another group of students are working on technical aspects of the production such as lights, sound and stage management, and IB theatre arts students have taken on directing responsibilities.

Bugsy Malone re-creates the 1920s world of Speakeasies, Jazz and rival gangs’ struggle for supremacy and the cast are looking forward to bringing the show to the stage just after Songkran. Stay tuned for further updates.
