Foundation Stage & Key Stage 1: A glimpse into the future We are already looking ahead to the next academic year with children visiting their new shared areas and getting to know the teachers...Parents will also get the chance to learn about the next phase of their children’s journey at St Andrews International School Bangkok.

We are already looking ahead to the next academic year with children visiting their new shared areas and getting to know the teachers...Parents will also get the chance to learn about the next phase of their children’s journey at St Andrews International School Bangkok.

You will see in the Dates for Your Diary section below, that we have added two more dates - the Transition Meetings for parents of children entering Y1 next Academic Year, and those entering Y3.

These meetings are information sessions that we run annually for parents whose children are moving into a different Phase of the school. It gives parents the opportunity to find out about how things might differ in the next Phase and ask any questions.

However, the children are already one step ahead!  Their current teachers are already taking them to visit the next year groups and giving them the chance to play in the shared areas and say hello to the teachers and TAs.

It will be a little while yet before we are able to confirm classes for next year but the children will be more than ready for the new challenges and experiences they have in store.

New Nursery Intake

Mrs Meg held the first Nursery information meeting last week to explain the philosophy behind Nursery at St Andrews International School Bangkok.  The meeting was well attended and gave parents the opportunity to meet each other and see the Nursery setting for themselves. We look forward to welcoming the children into school for their play afternoons.

Meeting for STARs Parents

Work has been going on across the Primary School to prepare the students for next academic year.  As part of this, we would like to invite the parents of STARs students to a meeting to discuss developments in the STARs programme.

This meeting will be on Friday 24 May at 8.30 a.m. and is scheduled to last at least an hour.  The meeting will celebrate the achievements of the students and look at planned developments in the programme.
