The importance of play cannot be overstated. Much of our curriculum is delivered in ways that encourage discovery, multi-sensory exploration and role-play.
Primary Phonics - Learning the "F" sound as Firefighters In Foundation Stage 3 (FS3) Phonics, children focused on the "f" sound through imaginative and creative play. Firefighters01

Recently,  in Early Years Foundation Stage 3 (FS3) Phonics, children focused on the "f" sound through imaginative and creative play.

The children created their own firefighter vests with the letter "f" and put them on ready for action around the school. They then used them to pretend to be firefighters and went around the school putting out fires. What a Fantastic and Fun Activity!

Learning through play

Playing allows the child to develop an enormous range of skills with communication and language, physical development and personal, social and emotional development classed as the prime areas of learning. We follow the interests of the children providing flexible learning opportunities across all areas of development.

The Day the Toys came to Life

Another great example of creative and imaginative learning.
