Where are you from originally?

I come from a farm in the midlands of Ireland

Have you lived in any other countries and what did you like the most?

I have lived in lots of different countries and each country has its own positive. For now Vietnam is my favourite because of the delicious food and phenomenal scenery!

I studied a Bachelor of Business Studies, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and I am currently studying a Masters in Arts in Bilingualism.

Why did you decide to become a teacher?

I tried many other jobs but when I tried teaching I LOVED it and so trained to become a teacher. I still love it so it is absolutely the career for me :)

What are some of the current issues in education you would like to solve?

Not everyone has the same level of access to high quality education and in the advent of digital learning I think more time would be essential to resolve this.

What is your teaching style?

Firm but fair, adaptive, always learning new things.

Who is your favourite famous figure and why?

Greta Thunberg – She has a very worthy cause and she stands up and tries her best to solve a huge issue.

What is your favourite thing about living in Warsaw?

I’ve only just arrived so at the moment, pierogi and the public transport system.

What do you miss most from home?

My mother!
