    Early Primary Reading

Sarah Charlesworth

Sarah holds a BA Honours Degree in Psychology and Education Studies from the University of Winchester (UK).

In 2012, Sarah graduated from the University of Southampton (UK) with a PGCE in Primary Education. The next stage in her career began in a large Primary School in Bournemouth where she worked as a Reception teacher.

After teaching for two years in the UK, Sarah decided she wanted the extra challenge and excitement of working and living abroad. Before arriving in Thailand in 2018, Sarah worked at the British School of Beijing, Sanlitun for 4 years as an Early Years teacher, working with children from 1 - 4 years old. She continued her Early Years career at Regents working in Reception and Nursery over a 2 year period before taking some time out for maternity leave.

She is very much looking forward to returning to Regents and rejoining the Early Years team. Sarah has a keen interest in language development in young children and has led many communication and language workshops for Early Years teachers and TAs, focusing on the power of language and Makaton training.

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading and trying out new vegetarian recipes.
