Itinerary
The STEAM Festival is a dynamic program that unites students from Nord Anglia Education schools across The Americas. Students will build friendships and develop their skills through workshops and collaborative projects, while enjoying some of Orlando’s most popular attractions.
Day 1: Arrival & Disney Springs Welcome Evening
Upon arrival in Orlando, students will check in at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista Resort and enjoy time to relax and explore the hotel’s amenities.
That evening, the group will head to Disney Springs for a festive welcome. With its imaginative design, creative retail spaces, and vibrant entertainment, Disney Springs sets the tone for the STEAM Festival. Students will enjoy dinner at Planet Hollywood and explore the area’s dynamic atmosphere, where innovation and storytelling come together in a lively, open-air setting.
Day 2: STEAM Workshops & Magic Kingdom Adventure
The day begins with immersive STEAM workshops at Windermere Preparatory School and a Disney park, where students will engage in hands-on learning that celebrates creativity, collaboration, and innovation.
In the afternoon, they’ll head to Magic Kingdom, where the spirit of imagination comes to life. As they explore the park’s themed lands, students will experience the excitement of high-speed thrills and immersive storytelling—from the futuristic energy of TRON Lightcycle Run to the interstellar adventure of Space Mountain and the musical journey of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
Day 3: Workshops & Hollywood Studios Exploration
Following another morning of engaging STEAM workshops, students will spend the evening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, where the magic of movies meets the marvels of technology. The park offers a cinematic journey filled with thrilling experiences, including the groundbreaking Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, the exhilarating drops of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, and the playful yet fast-paced Slinky Dog Dash.
Day 4: Final Workshops & EPCOT Discovery
On the final day, students will participate in their last round of workshops at Disney and Windermere Preparatory School, collaborating with peers from across the Americas in innovative STEAM challenges.
In the afternoon, they’ll explore EPCOT where imagination meets innovation. Students will enjoy the high-speed design challenge of Test Track, the thrilling spaceflight simulation of Mission: SPACE, and the storytelling excitement of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind—an inspiring finale to a week of discovery.
Day 5: Farewell – Departure & Travel Home
As the journey concludes, students and chaperones will be transported to the airport for their return home. With new friendships, unforgettable memories, and a deeper appreciation for the role of STEAM in shaping the world, students will leave inspired by a week of exploration, excitement, and creativity.
