Senior Boys Report

The boys worked hard all morning beating Hope in 3 sets as well as East-West and CIA both in 2 sets. This placed the Nagas first in their pool advancing them to finals.

In the finals the boys played ISPP, who they had both won against and lost to during regular season play.

Northbridge came out strong taking an early lead in set 1, although ISPP battled back it was the Nagas who won the first set.

Second set went point for point and was very well played but in the end ISPP won the set taking the game to set number three.

Unfortunately for the Nagas, ISPP played well in the 3rd set and the Northbridge boys could not find their momentum. At the end of the morning the boys took home a silver medal and are now set on the task of improving for ASAC in November.

Senior Girls Report

The girls started the afternoon off with a well fought game against Logos. Although they lost in two sets the girls were playing smart and keeping the energy up on the court.

Next they faced ISPP, with confidence and determination the girls came out swinging. The energy and momentum on the court was electric and Nagas girls won in two sets.

With no rest time the girls went into their third straight game of the day. Although tired the girls never let it show against Hope and were able to take the win in two quick sets.

After a strong showing in their pool play the girls then went to 3rd/4th finals vs. CIA. The girls walked on the court with energy and focus and despite some strong play finished 4th overall.

Both teams are now shifting their focus to ASAC, which will take place in Ho Chi Minh City from 16-18 November. As always we are proud of our Nagas and wish them luck going forward.

Go Nagas go!
