Reception have been consolidating their learning by applying the skills they have learnt throughout the year, into their play.

Children have built fantastic models using 3D shapes, used their knowledge of tools and materials to be creative, wrote shopping lists and post cards for our role-play activities, carried out investigations using a range of sensory materials and counted candles when making birthday cakes with play dough.

Children have also enjoyed playing outdoors in the beautiful weather, planting seeds and watching them grow, building bird’s nests and observing changes in the environment.
