Rebecca Cummins

Rebecca Cummins

Year 2 Lagoon Teacher

After gaining a B.A in Physical Education with QTS at the University of Brighton, Miss Cummins started her career as a year 4 teacher in a large, multi-cultural school in London.  She spent two years teaching year 4 followed by a further two years in year 3 and was the qualified UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools representative. She left the UK in 2012 to explore Australia. While there, she taught at Mount St Patricks Primary School in Murwillumbah, New South Wales.

On returning to the UK, she worked as a year 4 leader and teacher in a vibrant school in Bournemouth.

Miss Cummins chose to join her partner and our team at The British International School Budapest as she believes it is a forward thinking institute where students are empowered to take responsibility for their learning and where individual effort and achievement is valued.

Miss Cummins is a friendly, creative individual who approaches all tasks with energy and enthusiasm. She loves to travel to immerse herself in extraordinary places and environments.
