After her BA Zsófi started part-time English teaching at an elementary school. Besides, she attended artistic anatomy courses, got a glimpse of sculpting, and carved puppets for shows. In the meantime painting gained more and more significance in her life and she decided to continue studying in Romania. Since September 2015 she has returned to Budapest and taught Art at two elementary schools.
Throughout her years of education travelling was an inseparable element of her life – spending a year as a baby-sitter in Paris, a study scholarship in Istanbul, two years in Cluj, Romania, and has always been a passionate traveller, hitch-hiker and camper.
She joined BISB in August 2016 and feels enthusiastic about the environment and challenges.
Zsófi believes that art and education are interrelated. While teaching she tries to focus on the person as a whole, taking Art as a means to unfold a unique personality. While doing art she also feels as an educator – taking the responsibility of the impact of her works. She feels the two cannot be separated in her life, and is still discovering the ways they are connected or overlap.
Being in the nature is a vital element of Zsófi’s days. She loves hiking and nature sports, and her bicycle is her daily companion. When she has some more time she enjoys the ritual of baking bread.
