Live from the ‘18 Global Goals Student Summit – Part 1

Catch-up on what’s been happening so far at the 2018 Global Goals Student Summit in collaboration with UNICEF.

The 2018 Global Goals Student Summit is well underway!

Last Friday, Nord Anglia Education students from around the world gathered in New York City and kicked-off a week of activities centred around the Global Goals for Sustainable Development.

So far, Nord Anglia students have joined a range of meaningful activities at the Nord Anglia International School, New York. They have visited the Headquarters of the United Nations, attended seminars at the UNICEF House on the goals, and enjoyed excursions across the city.

Enjoy the following posts as captured by our amazing student journalists so far:

Coming up later in the week is the main event: student presentations at the High Level Political Forum!

Each year, UNICEF invites Nord Anglia student ambassadors to present their ideas on the SDGs at this prestigious event in front of government officials and distinguished individuals. This is a unique opportunity for Nord Anglia students to contribute to the discussion and influence policy at the highest level.
