Year 7 Science Fair

Year 7 Science Fair On Thursday, 30th June students across Year 7 took part in the first BIS Abu Dhabi Science Fair. On Thursday, 30th June students across Year 7 took part in the first BIS Abu Dhabi Science Fair.

Over the last few weeks in their science lessons, students had been planning and carrying out their own experiments to display at the Science Fair. Students dedicated their time to ensure their project had a clear aim, method, conclusion, and evaluation. They also created models and demonstrations to engage their audience and allow them to communicate their ideas more effectively. 

There were a wide range of projects on display, including solar panels and balloon cars, an eco-village, volcanoes, space clean–up, and hydraulic press experiment and an experiment into human anatomy!

The science department are extremely proud of all the hard work and effort that has been put into these projects – well done Year 7’s!
