Welcome Home to a True Hero

Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi made history by becoming the first Arab astronaut to embark on a six-month space mission at the International Space Station (ISS), and on Monday evening, he touched down on UAE soil. 11 of our students had the extraordinary honour of welcoming home Sultan Al Neyadi at the new Abu Dhabi International Airport.

In a heartwarming scene, the children, adorned in traditional Emirati attire, eagerly shook hands with their hero, extending a warm welcome as he returned home.

Our BIS Abu Dhabi community stands proud and inspired by this momentous occasion. We joined the entire nation on Monday in celebrating the return of a true hero.
