📢 Admissions Open for January 2025 - Schedule your visit today!
On June 15th, 23 Year 13 students came together with over 120 of their teachers, family members and special guests to celebrate their Graduation at Almaz Convention Centre. The ceremony was filled with pride and joy as it was a celebration of the milestone they had just reached.
Speaking at the Graduation Ceremony, our Principal, Ms. Sue Hill, expressed her pride for 23 new graduates, who have successfully completed the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. She emphasized the globalization advantages of the knowledge and skills that the curriculum offers as well as instructed students to always live with integrity, act with care and constantly strive to create positive impact on the community.
Joining our celebrations was Mr. Paul Huynh, Director of People, Performance, Culture at KPMG in Asia-Pacific. With his thought-provoking speech, he helped the new graduates to better understand why identifying and appreciating your values will help you go far in the future. This memorable lesson along with the knowledge and skills gained from International Baccalaureate (IB) program will help new graduates of BIS Hanoi become a confident global citizen and will always care about their social responsibility to the surrounding community.
We have had an action-packed agenda of inter-house activities, Christmas performances from Foundation Stage and Year 1, and today we had our Principal’s Award Assembly for the whole school.
I hope you have all had a good week and are beginning to get into the festive spirit ahead of the holiday season.
Thank you to all families who joined us to be entertained with our Secondary theatre production of A Little Shop of Horrors this week.
From Sunday onwards, we have had our CIS/WASC visiting team here at school. This has been a great opportunity to share all the wonderful things that we are providing for our students across all sections and to gain further insight and ideas to help us improve even further.
