Weekly update from Head of Primary

Dear Parents,

What an incredible penultimate week of this academic year we have had. The primary school has been buzzing with parents and events going on all week, and it has just been wonderful!

On Monday, the learning celebrations in the Phase 2 corridor kicked off with some phase singing with Ms. Kirk before the students proudly guided their parents around their classrooms to teach them about the topics and learning they have engaged in this year. From an Egyptian tomb, to cooking experiences, and from singing to writing showcases, it was fantastic to see so many parents engaging with their children.

Move up morning took place on Thursday, and the students were a mixture of excitement and nerves as they set off to meet their teacher for the next academic year. Year 6 headed off down the corridor to secondary for their transition day. I am delighted to report, as you will all know by now, that they all returned full of smiles and stories of a great morning.

As we head into the final week, I would like to say a huge thank you to all parents that came in this week. It was lovely to see so many of you, and I know the students absolutely love having their mum or dad come into school and share their learning.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.
