Principal's Weekly Update (24 June 2022) Today marks the end of the academic year 2021/22 and the end of my first year here as Principal of BIS Hanoi.

Dear Parents,

Today marks the end of the academic year 2021/22 and the end of my first year here as Principal of BIS Hanoi. As I look back over the past 12 months, I can see a very complex and varied landscape that we have walked together as a whole school community. Starting the year in a lockdown situation with full VSE was a big challenge for students, staff and parents alike. However, as we look back together we should be proud of all that has been achieved both individually and collectively. Your partnership as parents through this time has been critical and as such I want to extend a big thank you to you all.

Today the whole school gathered for the final Principal’s Award Assembly of the year. The first time in fact we have had all the students and staff together. A time to pause, look back, acknowledge our achievements and celebrate together. Well done everyone.

I would like to wish you all a very restful summer holiday season. I hope you all take the time to enjoy your children and be together as families.

We wish any departing staff and students well in the next chapter of their journey.

For all those returning, we look forward to welcoming you back to our care on Wednesday August 17th

Kind regards,

Richard Vaughan

Principal
