BIS Hanoi students selected as entrants for the 2023 MIT student challenge

Our students were required to 'Hack the tube,' meaning they had to create something innovative and unexpected from a simple tube and record a video about their work. Both entries were highly commended.

We are thrilled to announce that Hyeonchan is one of just 14 students from the Nord Anglia schools in South East Asia selected to attend a week of workshops and project works at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston in October! This trip will be an amazing experience.

Huge congratulations to Hyeonchan and Xinyue! We are very proud of both students for their creativity and ingenuity. Our global programme inspires students to look beyond individual subjects, sparking their curiosity through our hands-on interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving. Guided by the world’s leading STEAM institution, our students take part in challenges and visit MIT on a trip led by experts from the university. Our collaboration also gives our teachers the opportunity to learn from specialists in the world of STEAM, coming up with cutting-edge lessons that inspire our students in the future.
