BIS Hanoi joins global education leaders at IECEE 2026

BIS Hanoi was proud to participate in the International Conference on Education Cooperation in the Digital Era and Education & EdTech Exhibition (IECEE 2026) alongside our sister schools, BIS HCMC and BVIS Hanoi, joining educators, policymakers and industry leaders from around the world to explore the future of education in a rapidly evolving digital age. 

Held in Hanoi on 8-9 October, IECEE 2026 brought together delegates from more than 40 countries and territories, alongside educational institutions, government representatives, international organisations and technology partners. The conference focused on key topics shaping the future of education and workforce development, including artificial intelligence, digital skills, English language education and international collaboration.  

Throughout the event, we welcomed visitors to the school booth, sharing how our personalised learning approach, world-class teaching and global opportunities empower students to thrive both academically and personally. The conference also provided valuable opportunities to connect with representatives from Vietnam's Ministry of Education and Training, the British Embassy and a wide range of education organisations and partners. 

A particular highlight was a workshop led by Rebecca Carroll, Principal of BIS Hanoi, and Simon Higham, Principal of BIS HCMC. Their session explored one of the most important questions facing education today: how schools can embrace technological innovation while continuing to nurture the distinctly human qualities that technology cannot replace. The discussion highlighted the importance of creativity, critical thinking, communication, collaboration and emotional intelligence in preparing young people for an increasingly AI-driven world. The theme resonated strongly throughout IECEE 2026, where many discussions focused on ensuring students develop not only digital literacy and AI capabilities but also the interpersonal and future-ready skills needed to succeed in a changing global economy.
