Competing against some of the leading school swimming programmes in Hanoi, BIS Hanoi students represented the school with pride. The team secured multiple individual and relay medals, achieved numerous personal bests, and recorded several top‑three finishes across age‑group categories.
A standout achievement saw BIS Hanoi secure an overall 3rd place finish, marking the team’s strongest performance at the championships to date. The boys’ team also placed 3rd overall with 624 points, while the girls’ team achieved 3rd place with 467 points, reflecting consistent strength and contribution across the squad.
This success represents a significant milestone in the continued growth of the BIS Hanoi swimming programme. Since the relaunch of the swim squad in August 2023, participation and performance have steadily increased, with this year’s championships highlighting the progress made by both swimmers and coaches. Surpassing the 1,000‑point mark further underlines the strength and momentum of the programme.
Equally important was the positive team environment demonstrated throughout the event. Swimmers supported one another, embraced the challenges of competition, and showed what it truly means to be a Lionheart.
A special congratulations goes to all 44 members of the BIS Hanoi Swim Team. Whether achieving podium finishes, setting personal bests, competing in relays, or representing the school for the first time, every swimmer played an essential role in this collective success.
The school also extends its thanks to coaches, staff, and parents for their ongoing support. This achievement reflects not only individual effort, but a shared commitment to excellence, teamwork, and enjoyment in sport.
