School Bus Service at the British International School in Hanoi
Our bus service is a safe and reliable way to get to and from school every day.
Morning pick-up: it is important to be ready when the bus arrives so that it can continue without any delays. We kindly ask your child to be at their designated stop at least 5 minutes prior to the actual collection time. The bus will wait for 2 minutes of its designated time. Should a child miss the bus, their parents will need to arrange alternative transportation to school.
Afternoon drop-off: When being dropped-off at home, we ask that children walk carefully behind the bus and directly into their property. We ask for parents or carers to be at home at least 5 minutes before the arranged drop-off time so that children are met by a responsible adult. If there are no adults to receive the children when the bus reaches the child’s residence, the child will be returned to school and the parents will have to collect them from the school office.
Wearing a seatbelt is a must. Our buses are not allowed to move until all children are wearing their seatbelts. Each bus has a supervisor who carries a mobile telephone in case of emergency.
Our bus service includes access to our Bus Parent Portal, which provides useful information about bus routes, and notifies parents when buses arrive and depart from school.
If you require further details about our bus service, please get in touch with the school office, who will be happy to help. Service availability is on a first come, first served basis.
Our fees are revised annually. Please check with the school office for more information.
