Primary curriculum

At age 7-9 your child will join us in Year 3 or 4 on our Junior Campus. Our pioneering primary programme combines the key elements of the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum (IPC), unlocking a world of possibilities. Providing excellent teaching and learning in the core subjects – as well as tailored sporting, creative, and social opportunities – our curriculum provides an all-round education that enables each student to flourish.

English National Curriculum

The English National Curriculum teaches the fundamental knowledge and skills your child will need to flourish. As well as focusing on English, maths and science, your child will develop personally, socially, and emotionally. Our framework of academic excellence, values, and wellbeing – which are the hallmarks of the curriculum – prepare our students for the challenges of secondary education.

International Primary Curriculum
In subjects including geography, history, art, and design technology, your child will follow the International Primary Curriculum. This thematic, creative programme, with clear personal, subject, and learning goals, can be adapted to each student’s interests and level of understanding. It also gives our students an international and intercultural perspective.

English as an additional language (EAL)
Whilst all lessons are taught in English, we are able to offer additional English language support for non-native English speakers through our outstanding EAL department, if needed and dependent on level of support and availability. EAL teachers typically will work alongside your child’s teacher to build solid foundations for their future, allowing them to thrive in our international environment.
