Last term, two teams of students made weekly visits to the local Huynh Van Ngoi school (HVN) to help the Vietnamese children stage a production.

The two teams each worked to direct two productions - a performance of ‘Frozen’ and ‘The Jungle Book’. It was quite challenging to fit all forty children into these productions, but we managed to balance out roles so each student from HVN assumed an important role in a play, as well as having fun.

Our visits were always lively and fun - the children were always eager to help out, take roles, and work with BIS HCMC students. It was a very enjoyable experience, and we’re looking forward to going back this term to continue teaching the HVN children!
