Ever thought about becoming an IRONMAN? Now's your chance! Number 1 IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam will return to the city of Da Nang for its 4th edition on Sunday 13th May 2018 and here's all you need to know...

Always a popular challenge amongst the BIS community here in Ho Chi Minh City, IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam was named Best Inaugural Long Course event in 2015, Asia’s Best Long Course Destination Triathlon in 2016 and Best Triathlon Swim Course in Asia in 2017 by AsiaTri Magazine. The 2018 edition is expected to welcome more than 1,500 age group athletes and professionals from more than 55 countries. So are you up for the challenge?

Number 1 IRONMAN 70.3 Vietnam race will feature a fast, scenic course that includes a 1.9km ocean swim from beautiful Son Thuy beach at the Hyatt Regency Da Nang Resort & Spa (the race central). From there, athletes will transition to a beautiful two–loop, 90km bike course on smooth, well-paved roads that run along Da Nang's unspoiled coastline and past some of the city's key landmarks. The final 21km out–and–back run course is flat and passes by many of Da Nang's renowned beach resorts before returning to the Hyatt for a stunning beachfront finish.

Fun weekend for the whole family

The second edition of the Sunrise Sprint (S2) will take place in Da Nang on Saturday 12th May 2018 and offers a 750m beach swim, 20km fast and flat bike course and 5km run that features a stunning beach front finish.
