25 Years: 25 reasons to choose BIS HCMC

As we celebrate our 25th year of providing outstanding education, we were inspired by our Head Teacher of Junior Campus, Ms Dee Grimshaw as she counts 25 reasons to choose BIS HCMC for our 25th anniversary.

More than half of our 2022 graduates were accepted by one of the top 100 higher education institutions, including the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London in the UK, the University of Melbourne and the University of Sydney in Australia, the University of Chicago, Yale and Cornell in the US and the National University of Singapore and Seoul National University in Asia.

Not to mention our newly renovated Founders Auditorium on the secondary campus with a 14 metre long hi-resolution digital screen as an extraordinary backdrop for performances and assemblies.

Our AEN team is comprised of learning support and English as an additional language (EAL) and offers practical and personalised support to ensure every child at BIS HCMC has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our trained therapy dog is also an important member of the team, offering support and improving wellbeing of our students.

 

22. Communication

You’ll always be kept informed of what your child is up to at school. With PTSCs (Parent Teacher Student Conferences), form tutors, teachers and senior leadership always on hand, you’ll have a chance to meet and discuss your child’s progress regularly. Digitally, you’ll be able to stay up to date through apps sharing photos of your child’s work and weekly updates from our headteachers.

Our 3 campuses are located within walking distance of each other in Thao Dien, a thriving international neighbourhood in the heart of District 2, just 15 minutes from the centre of Ho Chi Minh City in beautiful Vietnam. Located in the south of the country with warm temperatures year around, you’ll also be able to enjoy holidays in paradise locations during the school holidays and learn more about the rich culture of Vietnam.

With a student population of almost 2400 and 55 nationalities, we love to celebrate the different cultures of our school.
